Welcome to 6th grade at Fairhaven

You will need the following supplies on the first day of school- September 8, 2009

ü 3 ring binder- 2 inches wide maximum

ü Package college-ruled paper - small package is plenty

ü Dividers for binder- 1 small pack of 5

ü Pen – red, purple, or green

ü 70-page non perforated spiral notebook

ü #2 pencils- box of 10-12

ü Large eraser- Pink Pearl or white polymer type

ü Hand held pencil sharpener- barrel type to hold shavings

ü Pencil pouch

ü Colored pencils- 12 per box

ü Glue sticks – 2

ü Black fine-tip Flair or Sharpie felt pen

ü Roll of transparent tape (Scotch type) with plastic dispenser

ü Highlighters- your choice of color

ü Facial tissue- 1 box

ü 2 Comp books- College ruled, at least 80 pages, NOT spiral bound; one for P.E. and one for language arts

ü Basic scientific calculator with a square root button

ü Scissors - optional

ü Storage media or device for electronic data: USB or Thumb drive

· Students will need to replenish supplies as the year progresses.

· A materials fee (between $12 and $15) will be collected at the beginning of school for additional classroom supplies
